Do we have any other TenTec Rebel people in the house?
I'm finally commuting to another mod on this little radio. The Rebel Alliance has a good list of common mods and I'm going to try and fab up the hardware needed to make the band selector.
Anyone else tried this? It's practically a junk box build. 2 relays, a diode, resistor, transistor, Then I'll have to make sure that I've for got the command lines in the radio to make use of the function button.
The radio is sold as 40/20m but to make that band switch you need to move 5 jumpers in there. This mod will remove the need to really tear open the chassis and operate in what's otherwise a single band mode.
