How do I do the fancy banner thing at the end of messages?
Is it automatic? I want one as well please! where can I set it up? I am
using slrn right now btw. I assume it is client specific.

You mean a signature? If a random 'fortune' qualifies as fancy (example below), here's how I did it, <https://tilde.club/~barnold/>. Have fun.

Look for "signature" in SLRN's documentation.

Manually you can add stuff using ...

    minus minus space endofline

... on an own line as separator and netiquette prefers a maximum of four
lines after that. I think you'll not be sued if in some rare cases you
    add a bit more. o;-)

Some clients[0] may block you from doing this, I don't know how SLRN
    handles this.

[0]: GNUS does by default, but that child-proof lock can be disarmed,
and I did that mainly only because I do not want GNUS to nanny me
too much and in near to all cases you'll see me stick to the four
    lines habit in news.

I prefer to have a global default signature overridden by hierarchy or
even group specific ones and additionally I often override that manually
from a pool of ~/.signature.d/* files when I see a better match for a
    post's contents.

That is a very cool setup. Thanks for sharing. I am going try to make a
dynamic one as well. Also nice blog, I like the style of it. :)

Thanks. I'd like to claim that it's due to my mad phat CSS skills but
it's nearly all what comes with the initial default site that comes with
    a tilde.club account. :)
