Sounds like it got complicated because there's a commitee behind the
running. not a clear way to hand over the keys to a 3rd party. It is a
shame to see it go.
Well realistically if a 3rd party were to take over the "committee" is irrelevant since that would be a point that the structure could change. Clearly that structure hasn't worked for many years.
They maybe would have to agree that it needs to happen. But that is
about it. Is sad that people would rather see something shut down
instead of just making the right decision.

But I think he would have rather someone take on the project for someone
