Hey everyone. I recently set up a shop for the tildeverse where people
can grab merch with tilde-related logos and whatnot. It's

We will probably not make any money with it, but a bunch of people have
been seeking swag over the years so I tossed it together. We have the
ability to add lots more products and designs. If you have a request let
me know.
Some notes:
- I won't be uploading any logos for tildes without checking with their
operators first. Same goes for tilderadio shows.
- If we somehow do turn a profit, at the end of the year I have to deal
with the taxes for all this shenanigans. Once that's settled any
actual revenue will be distributed back to the admins of tildes to
help them with costs. I'm not keeping it. Also our margins are set
pretty low. I think we need to sell something like $300 a month to
cover the monthly platform fee with revenue. So, yeah, probably not a
thing.
- It's using shopify as the front-end and checkout experience and
Printful for the drop-shipping. These platforms have some built in
analytics stuff and plenty of modern web things many of you probably
hate. I haven't added google analytics and I changed all the settings
to do the minimum amount of data capture they allow. This isn't about
nabbing your info, it's about being able to get myself a t-shirt (and
you can have one too).
- Don't wait around. I've committed to running this thing for a year
(probably at a loss). After that I'll probably shut it down so as not
to lose a bunch of money next year. If you want swag grab it while you
can!
