massive single user dungeon (emacs/gnus quickstart self test)
From yeti@yeti@tilde.institute to tilde.institute on Sat Dec 9 23:38:00 2023
I just wanted to test how much action it takes from an unconfigurd Emacs
to dropping a first post.
On ~Institute:
+ delete all emacs dotfiles/dotdirs
+ I see no signs of a previous GNUS config
+ $ emacs -f gnus
+ emacs starts with *Group* buffer
+ type ^ (maybe neded twice) to enter *Server* buffer
+ select the line with {news.tilde.club}, hit RETURN
+ type u on each group line you want to subscribe to
(gotta catch them all!)
+ type q twice
(should be back in *Group* buffer seeing the groups)
+ enter tilde.institute group
+ type a and enter a post.
send via C-c C-c or abort via C-c C-k
Taddddddaaaaa... or did I miss something to mention?
