    Via NNTP connection? Not really. What you are seeing here is
    Tildeverse Netnews, which is a small isolated NNTP network,
    existing as an asynchronous discussions parlor between Tilde servers. [1][2]
    It is not connected to USENET.

    You probably want to use a service like Eternal September [3] instead.

    You can set up slrn on your tilde account to access another server that
    gives you access to Big-Five. Try weretis or solani for example.
    There are others.
