I really do not understand what happened to a person being responsible and accountable for one's behavior.

Once again our liberal Toronto media is celebrating a bystander recording the takedown of a shoplifter by LPO's. Even if it could be argued the physicality was a tad extreme.. I'm reading this with absolutely no sympathy whatsoever for the criminal. Because I do not feel sorry for criminals.

Ever since someone tried to shove "Dead man walking" down my throat and tried to argue against capital punishment. Ohhhhhh the poor criminal... about to be executed for a crime he may or may not have committed. What a bunch of BS. How often does it happen where someone innocent is fried? Not often. Maybe don't ALLOW yourself to life a live sitting in prison about to get fried?

Maybe keep your nose clean and OBEY THE LAW?

Putting that aside for the moment, is the way the article was written in that it strongly implied that I am to feel sorry for the shoplifter because hey, it's a big company that can afford the losses. The idiot recording the video even stated that "things can be replaced". No sympathy at all for the store or the employees likely encountering enough criminality to HIRE the LPO's.

I believe in the theory that this is all part of a bigger movement, maybe hired actors by a certain political party or foreign interference to destroy traditional values. Little stories like this which are encouraged by
liberal media, who in reality are corporate and need ratings. Violence
and mayhem, racism, unfairness equals ratings. Faith in God and the family unit goes against the operative of the socialists and communists, doesn't make much money compared to mayhem and disorder... and is not good for ratings.

I think you have hit the nail on the head here. I don't remember the media sensationalizing near as much in the days before cable news networks and ESPECIALLY internet "news" sites and social media.

It used to be about trying to be truthful and balanced, now it is about
    getting the most clicks.
