    I don't trust any Apple products except my 2011-era Macbook Pro running
    FreeBSD 13. Apple is just as "evil" as Google, Microsoft, and any other Silicon Valley company these days.

    I have a cell phone out of necessity (due to my health and the real risk
    of my falling easily, I always have the phone on me) but not from my desire
    to have a cell phone. I'd much rather just have a numeric pager.

    Side note: I read this morning that Apple is trying to ditch physical SIM
    cards and going with e-SIMs ... that sounds like a good idea ... not.

    Yes, I am not looking forward such thing.

    I have a smartphone for work, but for my personal use I have an old school Nokia. It
    has horse teeth marks all over, and sometimes I open it and there is horse hair inside, but this cheapo is trustworthy as heck.
