Something that surprised me is my niece, who has kids and is a teacher
so sees a lot of kids, says that they are maturing more slowly today
than in the past.
With so much online stuff available I'd have thought the opposite
but she insists it's true. That came up when I mentioned I was

I wonder if that is all kids, or just male kids? As you mention online,>as best as I can tell from nieces and nephews, it is more the nieces that
They have always said that girls mature faster than boys, one of the
reasons they are usually looking for older boys while in their
early teens. Maybe I wasn't quite typical as I recall being quite
a bit more popular with the girls when I was 12 to 14 than most of
the rest of the guys. I sort of thought that was mainly because
at 12 years old I was already 5'10" so I was taller than most of
the other guys, many still shorter than most of the girls.

Women are indeed expensive. I learned this after two marriages the hard>way...
If YT and other services are to be believed, there are several women
out there who are into canning veggies and other homesteading activities. I suspect that all of them are also married already, though. ;)
There's many women out there but depends on where you live as to the quantity

I'd not expect to find any into homesteading in Chicago or NYC, that is for sure. ;)
I don t think my house is sellable. It is like a Roman Villa at this point. I often see big rural properties for sale in classified ads but they don t sell because they are not cheap and there is not many people in the need for those.
You might be sitting on a ton of money on paper but you would not be able to cash it out unless you sold it at a pityful price. The fact property here gets
taxed to death does not help because people knows a fancy house on fancy lands
costs a ton in government protection money.
Here places like that sell so that they can subdivide them into a expensive subdivision or, depending where they are, maybe an industrial estate.
