• Time change in the US

Due to Trade reasons we also follow the time change. Canada wants to
get rid of it, but we can't get you stubborn yanks on board.

For the purposes of my BBS, I did get rid of it a couple of years ago. I
don't even change the clocks in my house any more. DST is dumb.

I'm stuck with working a normal job so I need to know the time so I'm stuck following it.

I'd totally be like Kramer from siendfield and not switch if I could get away with it. LOL

I'll tell you a secret, when I went to school, I was taught the metric
system. In fact, there's even a US interstate that uses all-metric measurements: US Interstate 19. In IT, we used the metric system a lot.

Now DST is a different thing: there is a bill in Congress but it has been stalled for decades. Why? Lobbyists from the energy companies.

I hate DST. When I lived in Arizona, I didn't have to worry about it as
that state does not use DST. DST was good for the farmers in the 1800s but
it, much like modern labor unions, has no place in modern times.

As for being off-topic: fixed it for you.

It must be a pretty big source of extra income. Do they get any from me?
Well today they sure did. I woke up at 4:45 so the lights are burning for
    an extra hour.

I'll head to work early and get it finish and get home. I get more done in
5 hours on a Sunday then I do in 9 hours when the rest of the staff is there.

Ugh, labour unions. We're going through that now, I'm not managment so
I'll be stuck with whatever lies they tell the drivers. They are telling the new to canada employees how much money they are going to get. LOL!

Last union I got stuck with my wages went down quite a bit. If I'm stuck paying dues and it's more then I pay for benefits now I'm going to give notice and look for something else.

US east coast longshoremen are complaining that $80,000 a year isn't enough money. Yet they wonder why automation is threatening their jobs? These
are the same people who are voting for the drunkard and the closeted gay
    guy...

Here the cell phone companies change my phone time for me, and that is
where my alarms are set, so I get places I need to go on time...

It is a little confusing sometimes, though. :D

I don't know who they are. I know the orange one doesn't drink, and has a few ex wifes so must not be him.

Kamala Harris has a habit of showing up drunk or high on something to her rallies. Tim Waltz, the VP candidate is a confirmed horse semen drinker (I'm not kidding) and prances around on stage like his panties are two sizes too small.

However, as I type, I hope they will both be resigned to the trash bin od history.

I've not been watching the news as well... WW3 is almost here, and I don't really want to know.

Yes I see by the news President Trump won. I sure wish he would

From what I understand, Putin is starting to look behind himself a lot.
The Russian people are tired of his shenanigans.

I just hope the US will quit giving Ukraine money now that Biden won't be coviring his family's collective ass and money laundering in Ukraine. $180 billion given to Ukraine and what doe we have to show for it? Nothing.
