  • VMWare Workstation Pro Support...

    I can't figure out how to get support or post to community forums... I need
    my VMs to start up on startup. This was working with VMWare Workstation Player. With pro, however, I'm given a menu. This doesn't work for
    unattended or unintended startups. Any help? This is unacceptable and I may have to go back to Workstation Player... There must be a way for this to be automated, I just don't see it.

    Found the VM Autostart option. Just had to modify a file permission to get
    it to work!

    you arent saying what os you are running on, dude.

    I always had my vms running during startup.
    for windows vmware i used an -x switch i believe. look into the command line switches for your software that runs on whatever os you use.

    consider converting your vms and running it on proxmox.
    i've been running proxmox for many years and it's great.

    an -x switch i believe. look into the command line switches
    for your software that runs on whatever os you use.
