fall detection built into it and it will automatically call if a fall is detected.
What's nice is it will work anywhere there's a cell signal.
Hopefully it won't break when it follows you in the fall. :/

It works with AT&T and Verizon (I have both in my area).
If I was in an area where there was another carrier,
they'd send me another device set up to work with that
carrier.
Apparently it is primarily designed to call emergency (or a
family member) when it detects it hasn't been used in 12 hrs or
so.
Other features.. it analyses urine, determines whether you are
drinking enough water.. I'm sure there is other crap. :D
