I don't think I've seen a message from him in Micronet in years.

i haven't seem him active in years. when i got a reply from him last
time it was very odd like it was too much for him to fix.
back in the day he was really plugged in. i could talk to him in a
minute a few ways. he always used all the instant msgers at once with trillian. i wonder if he has financial or health probs.

Hello, Jas!
Replying to a message of Jas Hud to Digimaus:

It might be these days.

Very possible he has both there days. I certainly do.
well he just needs to delete the data files or run fixsmb
well in the past he got obsessed with games and disappeared as well.
I've given Andrew access to my BBS in case something were to happen to me. I'm working on other solutions in the works so if something does happen to me, my BBS can be shut down properly and Micronet can continue to function. I know it sounds a little morbid but with what has happened, it's good to make sure. I even have reserved a burial plot at Mountain Home National Cemetery (it's on the same land that my local VA hospital).
Once I can get a working amateur radio, I'll be doing that a lot but my BBS is reliable and can run on autopilot if need be for a while. One thing I'd
like to ge a telnetable surge protector so the BBS can be rebooted asily from remote.
i already have your obituary started.
there's a dude on tiktok who is a ham operator. he was streaming last night. looks like a cross between you and doc brown. i should have
saved his address.
I've managed other people's systems that were flakey and i would have
them reboot once a day,and then give myself another way to bust in
there and restart.
a few times i used synchronet's bbs end to take over and fix issues.

"I TOLD YOU I WAS SICK" will be on my headstone.
Luckily my BBS is stable for the most part. It's if something happens
to me is what I worry about.

Why worry about it? Honestly I don't worry about stuff like that, if I drop dead Brad Brackets will probably let the BBS go on auto pilot
until it crashes and then just delete the VM. Jas will let people
know when I kick becasue he's nosy that way and stalks BBS people. LOL
