I also have the only season of Automan, and all of Max Headroom. The
Max was really hard to find, ended up paying a guy on ebay a small
amount for downloads of his VCR rips from when it was new.
I used to have the Automan series too (loved Laura Branigan's appearance on the show) but lost it along the way.
Max Headroom was a weird but fun show. Matt Frewer did a great job.

I really should back things up, but I don't so when I loose a HDD I
loose data.

a guy who collects TV memorobilia, especially old spy TV shows.
He has a collection of Mission Impossible memorobilia,
like all of the newspapers, coins, passports, etc from the
fictional countries they infiltrated, the self-destructing
tapes and business cards that Jim Phelps used.
For a TV show, they did an amazing job creating a reality.
