I am working on an "automatic" local mode setup so if you want to run my doors locally, you can do so without having to fiddle with a batch file to do so. With Maximus, I can force the BBS to write COM0 and zero baud to get the door to run locally.
I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to test one of my doors on their BBS to see if this works?
If you're interested, please netmail me so I can have a list of people to contact privately to get the door I'll test out.
why would we need to run it locally if it's setup with our bbs? all we would have to do is call our bbs and run it like any other user.

Because some of us use software that still can handle a true local mode at the local console and don't have to "call" the BBS to log on.
well i dont know if a automatic local mode would be a good thing. a
novice could setup a doorgame and think it's working when it's not.
just use /L switch for local mode.
