Hi everyone,
Anyone ever think they're finished tweaking their BBS only to find ten more things
I am also redoing a lot of stuff with my BBS doors also.

I've got some bugs in Mystic that I'm hoping g00r00 will take a look at, bu the prereleases have been far between lately... Still keeping fingers cross =)
AC is nice, only have fans here at home, but doing OK with that.
Best regards

our electric bill is hiiiigh as fuck.
i'm going to use my blower fan as much as possible. that way i'm cooling me and only me. i do turn on my AC when i'm gone to keep my pets alive, though.

Yep, same here, trying to keep the bills down as much as possible...
I actually got one of those air cleaners a couple of years ago. The nice thing about it is that it directed straight upward, so it's like a ceiling fan but on the floor. Gives a nice and even breeze throughout the apartment.

I have never seen energy (electricity & natural gas) go up this fast in my entire bill paying life. Just a year ago I was paying less than half for electricity and was paying a quarter as much for natural gas. So electricity has gone up over 100%, and natural gas up over 300% in less than one year.
At least I locked in to a relatively decent natural gas price late last year that is good for 3 years. Most are paying even more than me.
i saw this on youtube and i gave it a try. it's the cheapest way to make an expensive-level filter. get a new box fan and then get a 20x20 furnance filter. get a merv 13 filter or better. you put it on the

Now you know why I haven't been very keen on buying a new filter for it... Which by the way has a built in NFC tag to keep you from getting a pirate filter (or perhaps even reusing it after cleaning it -- not sure about that).
So, for now, it's just a glorified fan. And an expensive one at that... :-/
Nothing beats a reverseable heat pump with a set of fan coils in my opinion. Next best
thing is a portable AC with integrated heat pump, of those in which you use a hose to
exchange temperature with the outside. Any solution lesser than that is most likely
not worth it IMO.

Yep, looks like it should do the job!

Definitely a plus!
I remember running my portable vacuum one or two times a day when I had pets. That also helped a lot. =)

No, you're probably right... Although regular vacuuming might prevent some of it from whirling around. :)

we have some long haired cats that shed all the time.
what i do a few times a month is i have an electric leaf blower and i
hit the house and blow behind the radiators where they rub their asses
and get all that fur. then it falls down in clumps and i vacuum.

Hang up a pair of black men's dress slacks in the middle of the room. World's best cat fur magnet!

i think it's an awesome idea. it would have to be quiet and energy saving, though.
Or anything my wife is wearing to go to work.

are you talking in relation to air purification or Air conditioning?
i have a portable AC that pumps the hot air outside. it doesn't really clean the ai
