I am getting ready to dump Internet Rex and I am wondering what you all use for a SRIF processor? I'd still like to be able to receive/send FREQd files through my setup.

c/srifreq which has been adapted to work with newer (4+) versions of bash. It seems they changed the format of the BASH_VERSINFO array, so I had to fix that.

Haven't actually tested it :-D, but if someone would FREQ "FILES" from me (either using binkp, or IFC/ITN/IVM i.e. ifcico), hopefully you should receive an allfiles listing back. :-D

Good luck! Could you run the older os/2 version? I mean it probably

I could but if I can get new OS/2 versions created, that would be good. I really don't need all of the fancy functions of ALLFIX but it will do what I need.

I'm holding off on doing the big change until after I move the BBS to the HPE server. Then I'll start the process of changing from IRex. I have to slow myself down these days and remind myself that I have plenty of time to do what I need to do and not rush to do things on days off from work.

TJT (which over the years was converted from a user flag to a "conventional" nodelist flag, is the system's opening hours (except for ZMH which should always be open -- unclear what ZMH would be for Micronet, though?).

See section 5.7 of http://ftsc.org/docs/fts-5001.006 for a more detailed specification. =)

This is due to the fact that the BBS/mailer is using my voice line, and I'm trying to avoid calls in the middle of the night until getting a separate line for it.

According to FTS-5001.006 section 4 (why do I feel like a FidoNet police? :-D), "Unless otherwise stated, flags are not position or order dependent, with the exception that User Flags must follow Normal Flags.", so ordering should not matter in practice.

Then there's that saying about theory and practice... =)

As I have said before and is worth repeating: Micronet follows the
Fidonet "standards" as published by the FTSC. I'm a former member of
the FTSC and Andrew is the current FTSC administrator. I believe Nick
and Deon are members of the FTSC also.

I looked at it again the other day when we started this conversation. It's just too much work for the one feature I'd use.
