  • WWIV 5.7.1 Preview Release

    Just wanted to let everyone know about all the work that continues with WWIV. The latest pre-release 5.7.1 has lots of updates, fixes, new features, and now includes a first time ever - native OS/2 version.

    Not only that, but for those that run OS/2 (eCS), etc from a VM is familiar with there are no vmware tools available. That has also changed.

    Rushfan has created a VMware tools for OS/2 that will greatly improve using it in a VM (far better mouse control, etc).

    Rob has been talking to me in OS2 in Fidonet but I haven't told him I am no longer using OS/2. I do have an ArcaOS VM but can't use it until I get a better computer.
