• FREQ Flag?

From Shurato@618:300/50 to All on Thu Apr 16 18:10:00 2026
What flag or entry needs to be added to my nodelist? At least one of my hubs didn't know and I have no clue other than to ask.

In most cases, BinkD systems using a FREQ processor should be flagged XX if they support both file and update requests, and XW if they support file requests only. Check the documentation for your FREQ processor to see if it supports update requests.

I'm using allfix and am not sure if I have it set up properly. Is the list file a list of directories, or the allfiles.txt file?

Ok, try again. Either one. I added magic words and the proper files group.

Sorry, allfix has no docs and f1 does nothing inside it. Do I need the *S followed by *.req after rp -SRIF? I had that, but kept getting invalid SRIF file. I removed the *S, but haven't received any requests since doing
that... I've got the proper group set up with all of the files in it, the magic file names for FILES and ALLFILES.

You should just need to pass the name of the SRIF file after ALLFIX RP -SRIF. The SRIF file lists (among other things) the path/name of the .REQ file that was received.

What is the srif file? I thought it was the *.req files... That's what I'm pointing to.
