From Shurato@618:300/50 to All on Sun Apr 12 18:17:00 2026
I'd like to use this, but it's an uncompiled bunch of pascal source code... What compiler should I use to create a command line (DOS is ok) executable?
Or is there something with binaries available that can convert from a fidonet nodelist to a binkd nodelist? I'd like to create scripts that handle this so
I can send more stuff direct than just fidonet, but all zones and nets... Micronet has a binkd nodelist, I don't think most nets do.

You do know that there is a Fidonet BinkD nodelist that gets hatched out everyday, right?

If you really must reinvent the wheel, there is a Perl script that will do
    the job very nicely.

I know, I get the fidonet nodelist. I meant fidonet style nodelists that
other nets don't have in binkd format.

I misunderstood you, I'm sorry. Try that Perl script. I know Andrew's system auto-generates the Micronet BinkD nodelist after it receives my St. Louis-style nodelist and hatches it out. Not sure if he uses that same perl script or not.

No problem! I was able to download the win32 version of fpc and compile the code! I've got a binary now! Yay. Any way, it works great. I've got the program running on a weekly basis, and am grabbing the actual fidonet binkd list from darkrealms, I believe. I've got a curl script grabbing that
nightly. I've got include lines in binkdall.cfg pointing to those files. Thanks for the suggestion, I really just needed to know how to compile pascal code.
