    I normally write my BBS doors in Turbo Pascal. I asked Microsoft Copilot to rewrite it in COBOL for me.

    OK now that is awesome. I have written some small utilities for GT Power
    in COBOL over the years, but never tried a door because I wasn't sure about redirecting output over the connection.

    Now I have something to ponder about. ;)

    MBSE (and I believe Synchronet) can run stdio programs as doors. This is just a regular peogram under *NIX.

    Now I have something to ponder about. ;)

    Feel free to use my code as a starter framework; it's why I released this
    under the MIT License. I did this for fun and it works quite well.
