I have two separate netmail areas in my BBS: the first is for Micronet
and the second is Fidonet. I have noticed with Multimail that it
doesn't seem to recognize two different netmail areas using Blue Wave.
I am not sure if this is an issue with MBSE's Blue Wave setup or not.
Do any of you have this issue?

With Telegard, I have several netmail areas setup in the TG message
areas and they all show up in Multimail, but not using Bluewave
    packets, using QWK.

I did use TGWave and much preferred it, but I was having issues with
    it's REP packets.

    Kev.

    Hi Kevin,

With Telegard, I have several netmail areas setup in the TG message
areas and they all show up in Multimail, but not using Bluewave
    packets, using QWK.

My problem is that in Multimail, using Blue Wave, I have a Micronet netmail area and a Fidonet netmail area. Both show up in Multimail but when I try
to respond to a Fidonet netmail message using the "N" (netmail) function, Multimail goes to the Micronet netmail area instead of the Fidonet netmail
area as the Micronet area is listed first.

I am trying to figure out what may be causing it but if not, I'll email MM's maintainer to see if he might have any ideas.

    Later,
    Sean

It does that here too, however ezycom is somehow able to figure out that
it's a (in my case) micronet netmail (listed as the 5'th netmail base) and
the message is crashed out correctly if I netmail you.

So Multimail just picks the first netmail base it sees. That's easy enough
to fix though: when I first get into the packet, I can press L to show all
of the message areas I subscribe to and not just the ones with new mail in
it. That way if I decide to reply via netmail, I can pick the right area.

I do not know how smart MBSE is in this case about netmail. I'll have to
    check and see.

On a side note, I have been talking to Rick Parrish about Manndoor via
email and he is very interested in any updates or fixes I create for it ... maybe I can wake up a few sleeping door authors to port/update their doors.

I might work on porting Usurper to Linux ... just because I can. Of course, that also means DOS, OS/2, and Windows versions. :D

I am going to try to do a fresh install of Slackware on that Elitedesk I was whining about earlier in MIN_COMP to see if I can get the Broadcom NIC chip
to work right. I cannot do virtualization on this little Z210 I have so I
need to switch computers. I found my ArcaOS 5.0.3 VB VM I made and I am considering creating a VMware VM of the Windows box using VMware's physical-to-VM conversion software. That Windows install has all of my favorite amateur radio software installed that I registered so it would be worth my while to keep it as a VM.

This way I can create DOS, OS/2 and 32-bit Windows doors on the ArcaOS VM
and 64-bit Windows doors on the W10 VM. My Slackware install is 64-bit so
I'd have to find a 32-bit Linux distro somewhere so I could create 32-bit
Linux doors if there's a demand for that.

I think someone did it already didn't they? I can't remember. If not
it would be a good thing to work on and maybe sqash some bugs in it too.

Totally. I still have a VM of my maximus install and my win server install. Just because storage is cheap now.

Sounds like you'll have lots to do in your "Retirment". ;)
