    Hello Warpslide!

Still fighting with netmail. Can you have a look at this:

    MsgBaseDir D:\MESSAGES
    # Areas
    EchoAreaDefaults -dupeCheck move -dupeHistory 11
    # Main netmail
    NetmailArea Netmail D:\MESSAGES\
    # Badmail Area
    BadArea BADMAIL D:\MESSAGES\BADMAIL -b Squish -g A -lr 0 -lw 0 -a 1:229/452@fidonet -$m 5000 1:229/426

Do you happen to know if I need to specify something in the Netmail area to tell it I want it to use *.MSG? I went hunting and I have found a squish base named messages at d:\messages.sq* so I am thinking it's tossing there instead of where I want it. d:\messages\1.msg etc

    Thanks for any help,

I have two netmail areas. The main one is JAM & the other is MSG for makenl, they're setup like this:

    netmailarea NETMAIL /home/ubuntu/fido/msgbase/netmail -b jam
    netmailarea MAKENL /home/ubuntu/fido/makenl/msgs -b msg

When makenl compiles a new nodelist that needs to be sent off it'll create a new msg which becomes: /home/ubuntu/fido/makenl/msgs/1.MSG

Once I run "hpt pack" it's sent off.

according to documentation the flag -b Msg would do it.

    Ahhh ha! LOL

Once I run "hpt pack" it's sent off.

Thanks again Jay! I've made the change and will give it a shot! I think
it was as simple as the -b msg though. (The docs are.... yes)
