  • demise of FB w/FF and w/Opera

    Well.. It has finally come to pass. Facebook doesn't operate
    100% with FireFox 52.8.0 or Opera 36.

    The dynamics required to start a message in the Messenger panel
    for replies doesn't work. The cursor might sit blinking in the
    message field, but there is no reponse with keystrokes.

    As much as I lothe using FB, it is however the only way to
    reach (or spy on) some friends or relatives.

    FB does not often operate 100% with even an up-to-date browser. It has not since they introduced the new user-interface to make it look more like the mobile application interface.

    The behaviour that I mentioned earlier seemed to be temporary,
    but the response remained very slow. It simply takes longer
    for the Mesenger pop-up to populate, and ther a major delay in
    the keystrokes when typing a message. My days for FB are
    clearly going to diminish by choice much sooner now.
