I thought about You when I was reading this:

development-compared
In some Echo Conference You wrote about the GoPro Camera
and this article on Redshark News is about GoPro's.
Thanks, Ed! I actually finally bought an Akaso. It was a little less expensive, got good reviews, and is good enough for what I wanted it
for!
I use the Online Bible (OLB) - DOS version and I thought
about using QBASIC to make 366 List (.LST) Files on XP's
HDD.
The first file would use the OLB to make a Search of all
Scripture Verses (say) to find any verse 1:1 in all of the
66 Books.
The last file would look for verse 12:31 .
In other words, One file for every Calendar Day in a Leap Year.
1,1 - 1,31 2,1 - 2,29 etc. etc.
I have been wondering if there is a BASIC or QUICKBASIC Echo?
Hmmm, another thing to add to my huge ROUNDTUIT file of things to do.
I have been wondering if there is a BASIC or QUICKBASIC Echo?
I'm having a hard time looking through MultiMail DOS full Echo List
when I'm looking through it, so since You are posting in this Echo
I thought to ask You if it is there anymore?
I know I will need help to write a program.

There is a generic programming echo on DoveNet. It seems to be
fairly busy there and many people represented.

But that approach would limit every chapter to 30 or 31 verses.
What about the books and chapters that have more then 31 verses
like the Psalms?
BTW.. there are several programming echos out there, but I think
most of them reside on othernets.
FamilyNet has an echo for BASIC, but no one has posted since May
18, 2020.
Perhaps another net has a more generic programming echo where
you can reach someone who knows/uses BASIC.

There *used* to be at least one but I do not know if it is still
active. Let me do some checking and see.
I know I will need help to write a program.
If I knew BASIC or QB I would attempt to assist but, as it is, you'd be
in trouble if I did. :)
If I see one I will add it.Thanks!
if I don't I will see if there are any
alternatives.

August mentioned the Dove Net Programming echo, I will try there.
I never thought that BASIC code would be talked about, although I
did see a message recently about BASIC for LINUX.

That BASIC you're talking about is called GAMBAS. Pretty decent
language implementation as well as a GUI for full development under
Linux. There is a pretty active mailing list with the developer taking
an active part. No echo though.
I have FreeBASIC installed under Slackware Linux. It runs very well though I am primarily a Pascal programmer.Yes. Another to add to the list. There's a lot of choice. I'm surprised actually that there isn't a Basic echo. I thought it was only MicroSnot that didn't like Basic Programmers... :-(
