Sherlock Holmes(?) shows would be lots better than some TV shows on now.

I suppose My favorite Doctor is The Third Doctor.

It's claimed that your "first Doctor" (the one who got you hooked on
the show will be yoour favourite. My first Doctor was Tom Baker, who
had the role for over six years.

But, my favourite, is like you. John Pertwee - the third doctor.

When the show Sherlock went on hiatus, there was talk that it wasn't
finished and might come back. It has been several years now so I suspect
that it may not be back, which is unfortunate. That is still my favorite
show or movie that I have seen those two actors in.

I first saw Tom Baker as The Doctor when a local educational TV Station showed it late in the evening, Sunday Nights IIRC

Much later a Independent local TV Station had Retro TV shows and The Third Doctor series was shown.

I had already seen some Fifth Doctor shows on the ED TV Channel b4 seeing Retro TV..

Retro showed earlier Doctor Who shows and I got familiar with the First and Second Doctors.

Last Doctor I seen was #7., then I saw the ABC TV Special show.

The over the air TV Stations stopped showing DW , I don't desire to pay for the Privelage of changing channels or turning off .My TV set because a show offends Me this I do 't subscribe to cable TV hence I only know about the actors in the show from Doctor Who BBS Forums/Echos.

Lost the DSL connection a couple years ago and didn't have Internet service until getting a cellphone this year.

I can't recall seeing any Sherlock series, tho they may be on cable TV recently.

Many years ago I think there was a Sherlock Holmes series that I saw some of.

I remember seeing Charlie Chan movies on TV.
It would nice if METV would start showing those movies for an hour after Emergency goes off at 6PM.
AND bring back The A Team.

    Off soapbox now.

Same here - WILL (University of Illinois) broadcasts a variety of Brit
TV shows. I've pretty much given up on TV - even Public TV. So now I
watch my old Doctor shows (and BritComs like Last of The Summer Wine)
on Amazon's Freevee service via my confuser.

So you've not seen Jodie Whittaker the 13th Doctor and first toots to
    play the part.

I lost DSL when I moved into my present home and was forced to choose
between Scumca$t cable or satellite. Having been in the satellite business
and knowing about rain/snow outs I sucked it up and did cable internet -
but not TeeVee. But when AT&T fiber bacome available at my location it
took me less than a minute to tell the cable company to stick their hook
up where the sun never shines.

Sherlock is a BBC series that was on PBS back about 10 years ago now...
well that was when it started. I think it ran until 2018 or so.

I didn't realize they had taken it off but I guess that is what they
replaced with an extra hour of M*A*S*H. There used to be an old movie
station as one of the substations on one of the Louisville stations, but I think their definition of "old" was mostly 1960s and above. I don't know
that they played many black and white films.

have a streaming service to have seen any Doctor after the 13th.

I seen'/heard too much TV while at work
When I worked where the Shift Leader desk was he had the Boob Tube on mash.
I didn't like listening to those actors but I had to be where he was periodically. .
I left his area as soon as I could when that program was on.
Just not my type of show.
Wvhen I was in the military I avoided being around folks who acted like that
