The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 673
continues.

SUMMARY...The severe threat continues across Severe Thunderstorm
Watch 673. Damaging gusts remain the primary threat.

DISCUSSION...Multiple loosely organized linear segments continue to
traverse the Hudson Valley, all of which have a history of wind
damage reports. With the approach of sunset, surface temperatures
have been dropping into the low to mid 80s F, which is also
supporting a decrease in buoyancy over the warm sector. Surface
temperatures are warmest ahead of a bowing line segment over far
southeast NY and with a small convective cluster in southeast PA,
and these clusters have the greatest damaging-gust potential over
the next couple of hours.
