The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 659
continues.

SUMMARY...Severe threat continues within WW659.

DISCUSSION...A cluster of thunderstorms continues across northern
Idaho/western Montana. Recent wind reports have been primarily below
severe limits, though a couple of gusts 60-65 mph have been noted
across central Idaho and western Montana near Augusta and US287.
This trend will likely continue over the next couple of hours.
Storms are gradually moving northeastward into drier and more stable
air. However, temperatures across western Montana are in the upper
80s to 90s with dew point depressions around 40-50 F. This will
support continued potential for locally severe wind gusts as
thunderstorm cores rapidly descend.
