    Areas affected...New Jersey into Delaware

    Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 317...

    Valid 161634Z - 161700Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 317
    continues.

SUMMARY...The severe threat continues across Severe Thunderstorm
Watch 317. Damaging gusts remain the main threat, though an instance
or two of large hail cannot be ruled out.

DISCUSSION...A squall line, with a history of damaging gusts, has
developed along the Delaware River and continues to progress
eastward toward the coast. Given the linear storm mode and strong
inbound velocities on recent KDIX radar data, damaging gusts appear
to be the main severe threat. A few more semi-discrete storms in far
southern New Jersey into Delaware may also pose a threat for large
    hail.
