    Mesoscale Discussion 1054
NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK
    0631 PM CDT Wed Jun 14 2023

    Areas affected...Northern Florida Peninsula

    Concerning...Severe potential...Watch likely=20

    Valid 142331Z - 150100Z

    Probability of Watch Issuance...95 percent

SUMMARY...Severe thunderstorms will spread into the northern Florida
Peninsula later this evening. Large hail and damaging winds are the
    primary risks.

DISCUSSION...An elongated corridor of severe thunderstorms,
including embedded supercells, extends across southern GA/AL/MS. An
apparent MCV may be evolving along this line northeast of Montgomery
AL, which may encourage further organization immediately ahead of
this feature across southwest GA over the next hour or so.
Substantial convective surge toward northern FL will continue and a
new watch appears warranted, including much of Jacksonville FL CWA.
