Well I finally got to see Picard Season 3. I can't say that I'm happy the
way they ended the series both in the final plot and also leaving the possiblily open to start another series. I was not to happy that the Borg
were the final enemy and the whole series ended over a poker game table. I would have liked to see how each character were to have continued their
lives. Did Riker and Troy go back to that out of the way planet with their daughter? Picard and Beverly retire to his vineyard in France? Data?
Geordi? Worf? One character I missed seeing was O'Brian, I hoped that he
would show for the final epsode he was a big part of the Enterpise Crew and also DS9 and one of my favorite recurring characters.

Did they leave the window open for a new series with Picard's son and Q? Actually The Borg and Q are two things I wish they would have closed the
book on.

So on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give the third year a 7. It was time
to close the book on TNG, The Borg and Q and leave us with a happy feeling
like Gene would have wanted.

That is right... The title would be "Star Trek: Legacy" and would be about Seven's adventures at the Enterprise-G. Paramount did not green light the series, though.

I agree, the end was very touching. Did you see Q's last scene?
