Hello,
There were some interesting answers. Star Trek IV was also good for the same reasons as everyone else said. I did like the Bird of Prey Scene where is appeared in front of the fishing boat.
Star Trek VI is my second most favorite movie. I liked the storyline and the concept that both sides worked together in hopes of staying enemies.
The camera angles on the JJ movies also bothered me. I also had a huge issue with the space station. It was practically a planet. It was so grand that it really didnt make sense that it was a far away outpost. For me, it didnt fit with the technology of that time even if it was a different universe, it should still have been similiar.
I would have really liked to see a DS9 movie. Has anyone watched the DS9 Documentary? I highly recommend it. The same people are also working on a similar documentary for Voyager. I do hope they talk about the conflict on the set. All of those divisions seem to be over now but it would be interesting to learn more about it.
Well, i am so happy to have these discussions. I love talking Trek!!!
LATER TREKKIES!!!!!
