• Still image and motion

From Adrian@3:633/10 to All on Thu Sep 10 23:42:12 2026
I'm running motion on a Pi, but would also like to be able to take the occasional still from the same camera. It seems that I can't run the
rpicam-* software at the same time whilst motion is running. Does
anyone know of a means of doing this.

    TIA

Does PipeWire help? I understand it is supposed to do for both video
and audio what PulseAudio could only do for audio.
