    Guess: Rosie's return was because the irish population was getting fed up with the Left's BS - and I would guess that many ex-IRA members are still alive. She can see the handwriting on the wall. Things aren't as "safe" as her delusion said.

    It would be awkward and uncomfortable to try living in a new country. She's old enough to realize that, but selfish enough to put her son through it for the sake of pulling a political stunt.

    There is that. It's even worse when people won't treat her like the celebrity that she thinks she is.
