I hope the Kurds are smart enough

The Kurds in Northern Iran have been asked to help overthrow the Iranian regime.
The Trump administration sees a role for them in this.
What's striking now is that the Kurds in Northern Iraq and Eastern Syria were betrayed by Trump during his first term.
Trump abandoned them. Many of their forces were killed because of Trump's betrayal.
You can't trust Americans, and Trump even less so.
The Kurds in Iran must therefore be very careful, because American aid could quickly end, and then you'll suddenly find yourself without help in a country where you yourself took up arms against the regime. That could turn into genocide if it fails.
Don't count on the US coming to your aid. The US only does what's good for the US. This isn't the US that liberated Europe and the Far East during World War II. This is a US that wants to occupy everything.
If you, as Kurds, go along with this, you're making it clear that you not only approve of Trump's approach but actively support it.
