  • School Board Meeting

    I have a security concern about one of the schools in my district. I couldn't get help from the principal or the superintendent, so I called and emailed the school board members. Since they never answered or replied, I went to a school board meeting.

    I listened to them talk. They want to move kids out of the elementary school so that they can rent out space in the building. My wife tried to ask questions about that but the president said "This topic is not open to questions from the public."

    Then they began discussing their progress in replacing white staff members
    with non-white staff members, and ways to get it done faster.

    By the time they let me speak, I was so pissed off that I was dizzy. But I told them about my concern and oneof them gave me his email address, even though I told him that I had already tried emailing him.

    Plus there were many other sickening details of this meeting, but this rant is already long enough. The moral of the story is: the left has full control of our schools and the only person who can help is President Trump and maybe Linda McMahon.

    1. Get your state reps to pass a "School of Choice" law so that the tax dollars follow the kid to whatever school he goes to.
    2. Now that you get tax dollars for your kid, you can get your kid out of the public schools and into something else.
    3. Watch the Left cry as their failed schools crumble.

    But I'm swimming in a muddy pond full of water snakes; every single member of NY's government is a total POS, except for the county sheriffs.

    Charter schools are excellent because they have a great incentive to do good by the kids (and by extension, the parents). Compare that to the (lack of) incentive for people who run the public schools.
