    The Comex price for copper soared to a record high yesterday! The reason is that Trump imposed a 50% tariff on copper imports. This will significantly increase the cost of necessary developments in the US. The sad thing is that Trump still has no idea how import tariffs work. Nobody dares to explain it to him. The copper price rose by 13%. That 13% was the highest one-day percentage increase in price since 1968.

    The copper price has now risen by 41% in 2025.
