Of course. Remember what they did to Bernie back in 2015. He was going >RL> to get the nomination, but the "super delegates", selected Hillary.
Bernie probably isn't as much of a team player as Kamala is. Besides, it's probably a good thing that the elite chose not to let the leftists vote in a primary, because they like having their mind made up for them. It saved them time and gas money.
During the election that Ron mentions, Hillary told the DNC that she'd
not run unless she had control over the DNC pursestrings. They agreed and, IMHO, that was the point where she really became their presumptive nominee (and everyone else who was running for nomination became SOL).
