There's no return! How can you call it an "investment" when there's no return? If it was supposed to return anything, it didn't return it, and unless such a return shows up within the next couple months, the voters who have any clue whatsoever are going to "Say no to the ho!" on
Election Day!
I don't know. Was it treason when Congress did that to Trump for 4
years?
I need to record that Thomas Sowell quote, so you'll have to do with my paraphrasing.
The Ignorant Elitists evaluate their policies based on the **intent** of those policies, not the actual outcomes.

That's smart. I think it's going to be beneficial for me to think about
it both ways from now on: 1) What do Democrats expect to get out of
this in the long run? and 2) Since their logic is often flawed, what
will the actual outcome be?
1. Raise the minimum wage and everyone gets paid more.
Then what happens?
2. Employers don't just have that money laying around. So their either cut hours, cut employees, raise prices (which lowers demand), close
their doors. Then what happens?
3. The people who would have gotten "paid more" now have less hours (so they get less pay), or don't have a job (and now get no pay).
So the end result is the OPPOSITE of what the "intent" is.

But when you say "intent," you're making it sound like they actually
have a good intention. Maybe they do have a warped idea that that
they're doing a good thing for us, but they seem like pure evil to me.

It's important to understand that the people we see are just useful idiots. They are frontmen for the people who are evil. Not to say that the frontmen aren't evil in their own right. It's just that they don't have the brains to be evil (and get away with it).
