Whether caused by nefarious parties or not, train derailments are becoming all too common here in America. Last week, a garage was hit by a runaway train for the second time, and derailed trains have also been captured plowing through towns across America.

They are using them as distractions so people don't notice what they
want to cover up.

Railroads are (usually) in charge of maintaining their tracks, so that wouldn't be the government's responsibility (usually). That said, the interesting thing about this derailment is that it was mentioned on the news that it happened, but I only heard that it turned out to be sabatoge because someone posted the local news article on a newsgroup.
