So if the senate Republicans can't fix the border, what can they do to compensate for this lack of security that we're experiencing? Nothing?

Senate republicans should be comforting us. They should be giving us guns to defend ourselves against 10s of millions of unvetted criminals who don't know our policies on things like murder, rape, and robbery. They should also be giving us home surveillance systems, street cameras in our neighborhoods, anti-theft systems for our cars. There's lots of things they can do to compensate. But all they do is hand money to Ukraine. Does handing money to Ukraine compensate for our lack of security?

Hogwash. It was the trumplicants in congress who killed the border deal.

If you are angry about that failure you know who to talk to.

Since the border will remain open indefinitely, what can congress do to protect citizens from 10 million illegal immigrants?

Or more importantly, what can congress do to protect citizens from terrorists?

I'd ask that they fund metal cage systems that we can construct around our homes. People who live in apartments should be given metal doors at least. But hopefully this stuff isn't too expensive because we also need to buy new homes for the Ukrainian president's mother in law.

It was going to make the border even worse. Currently, our laws allow 0 undocumented migrants per day. The "border deal" was going to legalize 3000 undocumented migrants per day. Congress protected us from that injustice.

Yes, I agree with you on this. In this case it's their inaction that saved the day (for me.)
