US Senator Bob Menendez has new charges now of taking bribes to help Qatar. This is in addition to the NJ Democrat's charges of taking bribes to help Egypt.

His term ends in 2025, so I guess we'll just let him serve it, because after all, he's not as bad as the other Democrats ;)

Thanks. That list is interesting. I wonder why the Senate doesn't take a vote on sanctioning Menendez? The only logical explanation that I can come up with for that, is that it's a slim Democrat majority, and Democrats would rather keep a liberal vote (Menendez) in the Senate than address the issue of a treasonous member.

I admire how Democrats work collectively to achieve their goals, no matter how tough the challenge becomes. House Republicans should have done the same thing with Rep George Santos, but as you know, Republicans are just undercover Democrats.

Fetterman is turning out not to be as bad as feared... unless you are a Democrat, that is.

Last I heard, he seems to at least understand where food comes from.

As for Menendez, it is better for Republicans if he does not resign. That
way, they are either running against a fraud or some brand new candidate,
and not against someone whose was named to replace him and is therefore an incumbent.

Good point! And I take it back about him being "insane." He knows what he's doing. But I think he's overdoing it, because he won his election by landslide (I think.)
