Trump's thoughts are still with us, despite him being no longer in office, and despite it being Christmas. And he is more focused on the issues that affect us than any other member vocal member of government in any branch:

"Included also are World Leaders, both good and bad, but none of which are as evil and sick as the THUGS we have inside our Country who, with their Open Borders, INFLATION, Afghanistan Surrender, Green New Scam, High Taxes, No Energy Independence, Woke Military, Russia/Ukraine, Israel/Iran, All Electric Car Lunacy, and so much more, are looking to destroy our once great USA. MAY
THEY ROT IN HELL. AGAIN, MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

(Message posted by Trump on the TruthSocial.)

His words hit home for me, and they echo my thoughts almost exactly.

Inflation is slowing. The recession everyone screamed about never happened. Unemployment is still very low.

" green energy " is a great way to become energy independent. If we dont need to depend upon oil, the we definitely don't need to depend upon foreign oil.

He's still trying to blame the Afghanistan debacle on Biden, when he shares a large part (not all, but a large part) of the blame for that mess.

Tax rates haven't changed much in the last 40 years. (a bit, but not much).

This is America. We used to celebrate inventions, Ingenuity, and technological progress. Now such things are "lunacy"? Sounds incredibly un-American to me.

Everything is not wonderful. Biden has given us nearly 40 million migrants with no background checks. That is the most idiotic migration policy in the whole world. Pick any country. ployment is still very low.

The recession not happening depends on whose definition you use. Wikipedia
had to lock the recession article down because people kept changing the definition so that the ecomoic situation the US was in would not meet the definition of the day.

Unemployment is low because that number does not include those who have

" green energy " is a great way to become energy independent. If we dont need t

When it can produce enough energy to sustain our culture's demand for it,
it might be. The problem with "green energy" is that it is not really
green -- the mining of the elements necessary for the high-capacity
batteries is ruining the environments of the third-world countries where
they are mined (and they use child/slave labor) -- and we will ultimately
be trading one foreign dependence for another -- those elements are not
mined in large quantities in the US.

He's still trying to blame the Afghanistan debacle on Biden, when he shares a rge part (not all, but a large part) of the blame for that mess.

Biden is the one who ultimately continued down the wrong path, even after
many advisors and diplomats told him it would not work. He listened no

no one with half a brain uses Wikipedia for more than a link aggregator. You search for a topic, land on the Wikipedia page. Skim it, and then visit the cited references to get the raw data.

Besides, lots of pages get locked down on Wikipedia constantly. I'm pretty sure there's an automated system that will lock a page from editing if it gets viewed often enough.

Unemployment is low because that number does not include those who

It's funny. Republicans only make that claim when there's a Democrat in the white house. When Trump was in the White house and Unemployment was low, before Covid, Those figures provided by the BLS were ROCK SOLID and COMPLETELY ACCURATE. But now they "don't include those that gave up looking for jobs". The same argument was made when Obama was president.

Dubya could have got us out of Afghanistan. But chose not to do so.

He left Biden with very few options.

    President Biden had two options.
To stay in Afghanistan, allowing the Taliban to continue
killing our nation's finest, or to leave AFghanistan, thus
saving our nation's finest to fight another day, in places
    more worthwhile.

President Biden made the right choice.

Unfortunately Biden picked the worst of those options.

Afghanistan is a snake pit, run by the Taliban. It has always been
a snake pit, even before then, as Russians found out. As well as the

US troops ever arrived. And hey. That is what the people in that place
want. It is their country. Not ours. Get used to it.

None of them would have been "good", however.

We had no business ever going there in the first place.

Tax rates haven't changed much in the last 40 years. (a bit, but
    not much).

Could have fooled me. Last year was the first time in a very long
time that I had to pay a large amount to the Fed. And my withholding
percentages didn't change nor did my tax status.

Mine stayed the same. But neither my personal experience nor your personal
experience proves either of our points. There are actual numbers readily available that support my point.

We spend far more on defense than anything else. Cutting those
tax dollars in half would be a great start in restructuring our
tax system to what it should be. Also tax cuts for the wealthy
have caused a damper on those who are just trying to get by.
And lets not forget about the so-called "death tax" ... which
the wealthy want to totally eliminate.

This is America. We used to celebrate inventions, Ingenuity, and
technological progress. Now such things are "lunacy"? Sounds
    incredibly un-American to me.

It is. And who's not celebrating inventions, ingenuity and
    technological progress? It's the Elitists.

Blah Blah Blah "elitists" blah blah blah. get a better talking point. You
sound like one of those wanna-be-hacker kids from the 90s that was rejected
by all the " 'LeeT GRouPZ " he looked up to, and 25 years later you're still angry and bitter about it.

Don't look at me. I'm not angry and bitter about anything.

Finally "ROT IN HELL" is a great Christmas wish.

FJB. It's a great Christmas wish to the Elitists.

Legion of Doom rejected you becuase you were a script kiddie, didn't they?

I heard Mad Vlad is running out of players in Ukraine ...

    We used to come
together at Christmas no matter what our differences were.

Can't happen with people who want to destroy most of us and enslave
    the rest.

    Remember the WWI Christmas ceasefire?

Only in history books. But those were very different times and have
    nothing do to with today.

Now we have former presidents saying those
who disagree with him should "ROT IN HELL"

Then you missed what his message was.

He was telling the Elitists, who want to kill us and enslave us, to
rot in hell. And I completely agree with him.

You provide a ton of tinfoil-hattery but no actual evidence to back up your
    claims.

Try to make evidence stick to a tinfoil hat. Just try.
Can't be done. I tell you quite honestly. Can't be done.
Almost as bad as nailing jello to a wall. Can't be done.

    For Life,

more, could be less, but 20 million isn't accurate.

So, there were none until 2021, when Biden took office. now 3 years later there are somewhere between 20 and 45 million?

I didn't say there were none in 2021, but there weren't millions; not by anybody's records.

I don't think your fellow conservatives would agree with those numbers. You're at least an order of magnitude off, and then some. dial back the puffery about 80% there.

Yea that's the weird thing about conservatives: they have a mind of their own. I also disagree with dialing back the puffery. It's better to gear down on the liquor and ramp up on the puffery.

You are sounding like Lee and the rest of the Ignorant Elitists. So I checked my twit list and... there you are. It's been a while.

I find it interesting that when people stop listening to the current group of Ignorant Elitists that an "old" one shows up spouting the same nonesense from their false Narrative, and throwing around insults instead of providing facts and arguments.

Unemployment is low because that number does not include those who
have been looking for too long, or who have stopped looking, for a
    job.

It's funny. Republicans only make that claim when there's a Democrat in the w
te house. When Trump was in the White house and Unemployment was low, before vid, Those figures provided by the BLS were ROCK SOLID and COMPLETELY ACCURATE
But now they "don't include those that gave up looking for jobs". The same arg
ent was made when Obama was president.

I learned that in school and it is always true. Now, the person teaching
to me at the time was happy to do so because a Republican was in office,
but that is how it works.

The problem with "green energy" is that it is not
really green -- the mining of the elements necessary for the high-capacity batteries is ruining the environments of the third-world countries where they are mined (and they use child/slave labor) -- and we will ultimately be trading one foreign dependence for another -- those elements are not mined in large quantities in the US.

Great, let's build a bunch of nuclear plants. If our electric grid ran entire
on nuclear, wind and solar that'd knock out a huge portion of the toxic crap at gets pumped into the air we breathe and the water we drink.

But that doesn't fix (at all) the issue of the EV batteries (and other
high-cap batteries) necessary, which pollute the ground and water of the countries the elements are mined by slave labor in, nor does it reduce our foreign dependencies -- it only changes them.

So instead of gas prices being dependent on some foreign regimes, the
prices of the elements for the batteries will be. I don't see long-range EVs ever being affordable.

Biden was not my first, second, or even third choice in 2020. But they were l better choices than Trump.

Biden was not a better candidate than Trump in 2020. However, as Trump has proven to be one of the worst ex-Presidents we've ever had, I would have to
say that neither is better than poo at this point. Neither are Kamala
    Harris or Gavin Newsome.

I am absolutely sick of voting for the "least worst candidate" for anything an
everything, but that's the system we have. None of us has enough money to cha
    e it.

Either the candidates have gotten worse, or we've just become more wise
    with age.
