Well, Donald J Trump says he'll be the Speaker if nominated...

I wonder what the Democrats will feel like if Donald J. Trump becomes speaker... Will they have regrets voting to get rid of Kevin Pelosi...

Well, Donald J Trump says he'll be the Speaker if nominated...

What is Rule 26? Rule 26 is included in the House Republican Conference Rules of the 118th Congress, which was approved in January. It states that a "member of the Republican Leadership shall step aside if indicted for a felony for which a sentence of two or more years imprisonment may be imposed."

So the MAGA idiots don't even know about their own rules?

The former president is blocked from the speakership by his indictment(s). Not my rules but republican rules.

Having worked for the government, and having worked in an area where many
of my coworkers wanted to get rid of a boss they didn't like only to have
that boss replaced with someone they thought was worse, yes it is so.

    Hello Alan,

Well, Donald J Trump says he'll be the Speaker if nominated...

    I don't think that's what he said.

MaGA nutjobs claim he said it. That is all that counts.

I wonder what the Democrats will feel like if Donald J. Trump becomes
speaker... Will they have regrets voting to get rid of Kevin Pelosi...

The former president is blocked from the speakership by his indictment(s). Not my rules but republican rules.

Now that the speakership is vacant, there are no rules (republican
or otherwise). The House cannot conduct any business until a new
speaker has been elected (by the entire body, regardless of party
or no party). Those are the rules (such as they are).

Sometimes it's better to have the Devil you know than the Devil you don't.

    Is that so?

In this case, somebody left out the details. On purpose.

    Hello Joe,

So the MAGA idiots don't even know about their own rules?

Name one charge that Trump has been convicted of...

Although he has been found liable on various civil charges,
he remains an unconvicted felon in criminal matters.

In the US you are innocent until proven guilty..

The presumption of innocence is not the same as innocent.
Trump was allowed to enter a plea - "guilty" or "not guilty".
Trump chose to enter a plea of "nut guilty" - to all charges.

I'll wait on your list of felonies

I am sure Donald Trump is fully aware of his own guilt.

And once a verdict has been reached, he will be a convicted felon.

MAGA has been classified a domestic terrorist organization.
Perhaps rewording indicted/convicted would make things easier
    for them to understand.
    * Trump is an unconvicted felon.
    * Trump will become a convicted felon.

The unconvicted felon is just as guilty as the convicted felon.
The only difference being two letters.

In the US you are innocent until proven guilty..

In the Free World, there's a huge difference between indicted and convicted.

    Indicted = unconvicted felon

Of course, one does not have to be indicted in order to be a crook.

I like that. Keep referring to Trump as the "unconvicted felon." It says more about the person who's saying it than it does about Trump.

I am a trained journalist, having actually worked in the field.
All journalists (print and broadcast) are taught the fine arts of
observation. As such, as soon as a jury renders its verdice, he
will be referred to as a convicted felon. But not until then.

Remember, you heard it here first.
