AFAIK, the order pertains to just the city of Albuquerque. Let's give
her the benefit of the doubt (although she don't deserve it) and let's observe and see if the # of shootings in Albuquerque goes down from this "gun ban." (It won't.)
Because all shootings stem from licensed gun owners, right? ;)
She's not the smartest lady. Let's see if "statistics" work out well for her.
Noooooooooooo.... no benefit of the doubt...
Change the constitution...
U can't suspend it...
there is no suspend clause.
Can you imagine what the Democrats would do if they could suspend the constitution with whatever emergency they come up with!!!!
She needs to call in the national guard...
and put them on every street corner where the problems are...
She needs to have police arrest people for crimes they commit...
She needs to tell prosecutors to add enhancements if they are using guns during those crimes...
Mobilize the gang units and go after criminals doing the crimes with the guns...
And leave law abiding citizens alone....

Need to have them busting more people for drugs, too. I think that gun crimes need to be prosecuted more seriously when (1) the gun is not legally owned, and/or (2) the perp is high -- even on legal things like pot (which is apparently legal in NM).
South ABQ... along Central Avenue (and even around the UNM campus)... is crawling with street people. People passed out laying on the
sidewalks... walking out into crowed streets... etc. Other areas are
also not great but that area in particular is bad.
When law enforcement enforce the laws...and the legal gun owners remain vigila
to protect themselves and their families... criminals go to other places...

Yes, and if your government is lax and/or ties the hands of your law enforcement and/or citizens, criminals thrive.
A lot of lefties don't understand that.

Like Democrat-run cities where Law Enforcement is tied, and the DA will just let them go it they do get caught.
I feel like most people have had it, though. If Antifa tries things again, I think that we'll see some push back in the form of dead Antifa thugs and no one having seen anything.

Antifa is a protected class...
I hope the next election will turn the
direction we are going ands the political elites are exposed and
expunged from the system.
I think more along the lines of useful idiots. They are "protected" in that if they start getting prison time or shot, they will disappear.
Most of these people are nothing but LARPers and once things get real, they will run back to their mom's basement.
They've already been exposed - at least the front-men have. We need to know how deep this goes and remove these people from society.

If I were the Deep State I'd be worried if Trump gets back in and
starts investigations in to the cover ups on how things get so politicized...
That's why he's been indicted (how many times now?) for nothingburgers.

His first term tore the mask. A second term will rip it completely away and not even the Ignorant Elitists will be able to use their mental gymnastics to excuse things away. At that point, the unconstitutional
4th branch of gov't will be dismantled and their power gone.

I was recently through Albuquerque... twice. I can tell you that their problem is not guns. Their problem is too many street people and too
many drug addicts (on illegal drugs). Fixing those kinds of problems is "too hard" and probably doesn't win leftist votes like gun grabbing.

They already do, and they've already gotten away with a lot. Surely this is just a test; they're testing us to see what happens when they start to openly impede on constitutional rights. If Albuquerque gun owners just turn the other cheek, and I know they will, then this will serve as a model for future tyrannical endeavors.
