So... The house Republicans of Georgia are moving forward with an Investigation of Fani Willis, a county DA in Georgia, to see if she's colluded with the Feds on her Trump indictment.

Looks like some of the defendants are asking for a venue change... This should be done because what she's accusing people of doing was done while they were working for the federal government... But we live in opposite world right now...

True that some are asking for a venue change to Federal Court. Not true
that working for the federal government is sufficient justification.
What they need to show is that what they are accused of was part of
their duties for the federal government -- duties for the campaign does
    not count.

Or that they won't get a fair trial in the current venue.

Since the case involves the election, and specifically the election in
Georgia, I am not sure they have any basis for a venue change, unless they
can prove their ability to get a fair trial is compromised.

I didn't mean like a civil servant... but rather Mark Meadows and others are accused of committing federal offenses while serving the president of the United States...

    CNN
Former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows is seeking to move the Fulton County, Georgia, prosecution against him to federal court so that he can try to get the case dismissed under federal law.

Meadows argued in a new court filing submitted in the US District Court of the Northern District of Georgia that he is entitled to bring a federal immunity defense because the Georgia state charges against him stem from his conduct as then-President Donald Trump’s chief of staff.

On Wednesday, a federal judge scheduled an August 28 hearing for Meadows and others to present evidence about whether to move the case. The judge noted the state court case can proceed at this time.

    Politico wrote
lawyers for Meadows argued that the case against him should be moved out of Georgia state court so that Meadows can argue in federal court that he is immune from the prosecution under the U.S. Constitution. The charges against him, his lawyers said, amount to “state interference in a federal official’s duties” in violation of the Constitution’s supremacy clause. Meadows intends to file a separate request for “prompt dismissal” of the charges, his lawyers added.

So, as it goes... case might get thrown out if it goes to the Feds... AS I read... 100% of the cases that get moved to thew Feds from the state get tossed because of overreach.

BTW, House GOP have put the State prosecutor under the microscope the other days... They told her to keep all communications... They want to look at if there was any interaction between her and the white house.... and the DOJ... and they want to know if there was any federal dollars used... just to mention a few...

    She's pissed!!!
