Because Kamala has even worse polling numbers.

Kamala is Joe's insurance that he won't be pushed out of office early. No one, not even the hard core Elitists, want Kamala as President.

Besides, the entire Biden Regime is staffed with diversity picks - instead of actual competent people. So Kamala fits right in there.

Remember the messaging that Biden would heal of the division, Biden using
    ord
"when your sitting at your kitchen table" - trying to be appealing to the
    ard
    orking - struggling everyday Americans.
If that had a title it would of been "He gets it"
As it turns out this was nothing than a mirage.

I am curious to see how they will stick to that unity message. About the
only "proof" is that Antifa and other rabble-rousers have stopped
disrupting life in the cities, but all that proves is which side they favor
and that won't be so disruptive when one of their own is in power.

I've heard them say "Biden's polling low because of inflation," but that can easily be twisted into "Inflation is actually high because of lingering Trump effects."

IMO, much of the world wide (not just the USA) inflation is because of
Russia -- what has been done to it and what it has done.

"Polling low because of inflation" should not be a thing since under the
Biden administration, the rate of inflation has come down considerably.

During the primaries, the candidate who wins a state gets their delegates
(or is supposed to). If I remember right, in this last election, I learned that if a candidate drops out, those delegates can be transfered to another candidate... but I may not be remembering that right.

Biden won most of the state delegates before they started cancelling/ignoring the primaries "due to COVID."

    (1) Biden's job performance/approval polling is low, *BUT*
    (2) Biden is still polling ahead of Trump for 2024

If you go back through time, there have been plenty of other recent
Presidents with < 50% approval ratings who have still been re-elected.

That second one is all that matters (but, as recent history has proven,
    could also be wrong!).

The media people are on a mission, and they don't mind lying if that's what it takes to accomplish it.

I think they're full of it about their polls in general. If they're going based on silly internet polls, then they're omitting a gigantic population of people who don't use the internet, but still vote.

I'm not a fan of statistics, but "straw polls" are even worse. It's a very lousy and manipulative way of "predicting" an election winner.

A better method would be to poll every registered voter in the whole country, but of course, even then, stuff changes by the time election day comes.

You are correct. Further checking shows me that according to figures
for the USA inflation was holding under 3% until April 2021. Then it
sas under 6% until November 2021, and rising to a peak of 9.1% in June
2022 (Russia invaded Ukraine for the second time in February 2022).
Then from July 2022 until today the inflation rate has been dropping
steadily to each 3.0% in June 2023.

That usually means the people in those states voted for him. IIRC, some
