In the battle for the presidency, Trump is still by far the most popular candidate among Republican voters.

But. The group of people who would choose Trump anyway is getting smaller. However, they are also becoming more fanatical.

Even if Trump were to shoot someone live on TV, then flatten them with his limo, drive backwards one more time to make sure the person is dead, they would still choose him if only that dead person was a foreigner, a person of color, a Jew, or a Democrat.

That's how far this cult goes.

In a survey with Trump voters, live on TV, his followers simply admitted that.

To them, the man is far above the law.

They say they are for the constitution, but don't want to apply its rules when it comes to their beloved leader.

How did the man manage to do that?

It has become a cult, a religion among those people. Nothing can stop them from praising the man to the skies.

So if the Democrats want the Republicans to lose in 2024, they have to target ALL other Americans. After all, you're not going to convince Trump followers anymore. Those have already closed their eyes and set their minds to zero.

Those people would follow their beloved leader even if he leads them straight into an active volcano.

Democrats need the rest. People who do still think about their lives, the economy, the opportunities life offers.

Trump followers, after all, have given up hope. Those only see fear, doom and conspiracies. Only Trump can still save them in their eyes. Trump, however, is not going to save anyone but himself.... if he still has that chance. He has worked himself very deep into shit now, and the question, of course, is whether he will still be a candidate in 2024.

But even if he is, the Democrats' opportunity lies in convincing both Republicans and Democrats that their alternative is better than the fascist state that Trump advocates. It is up to the Democrats to get that message out well. If they succeed, then Trump's cult has no chance of winning the presidency.

with a preoccupation with foreigners, persons of color, and Jews.
