This is borderline politics in the sense that it involves some privacy
issues, but Big Brother in this case is not the FBI but rather Micro$oft.

So without user knowledge, M$-Edge, Micro$oft's replacement for Internet Explorer, sends images that you view online via the browser back home to Micro$oft. Also mentioned is a "bug" that leaked your personal information
to Micro$oft's Bing search engine.
The browser may warn you now that the photo enhancement gimmick involves sending the photos to M$ but it did not originally, even though it was
sending the data even then.
The site I found the message on, osnews.com, suggested the best fix is to
stop using Edge. We are forced to use it at work but, as all of my home machines are *nix machines, it is not used here. :)
