I would argue that they are only held accountable when they outlived their usefullness and/or they did a lie that they can't cover up (or didn't meshit

I went to University in the late 1980s - early 1990s. Whether or not you could openly debate depended on where you were and whether or not you
knew your audience. There were a lot of "shout you down" leftists even then.
I took a political science class. I would expect that throughout a semester, one might figure out the leanings of the professor and I did.
I would not expect the same thing to happen in an English class, or other classes I took that were not related to politics, yet I did in several of those, too.
I did not learn any such things in my biology class back then. Now I
bet I would, at least when it comes to multiple genders.

was not their own (or their network). I remember hearing them mention that "The Associated Press/New York Times/etc. has reported that..." I think they still do sometimes. I will have to pay more attention but these "same-sounding" reports I do not remember hearing them give any

I went at the same time, but it was a University that focused on technical things - where the Woke finds it harder to get a hold because performance is required and standards can't be lowered (spending all that money for a mechanical engineering degree is worthless unless you can pass the certification exam).

I have never stopped talking to family members because of politics, but I have learned not to talk politics in front of a lot of them. I do have one family member who quit talking to most all of us several years ago
due to multiple issues, mostly revolving around politics and religion. This is going to sound like a contradiction, but most of us were either not leftist enough or not religious enough (or both!). We were not "supportive" of her beliefs.
